The AP: June Round Up

It’s been a busy few months for the ArchiPhonic team, with planning permission approved on a number of key developments, a new team member and our appointment to work on two brand new projects.

After months of work liaising with local authorities and highways agencies, we had planning permission approved for the development of four affordable houses on a green belt site in Scarisbrick, West Lancashire.

We also had planning permission approved on a significant renovation project in West Cheshire, which we’ll be sharing more details about on our project pages very soon. The team’s expertise and enthusiasm for this project even led to us being instructed to undertake the next stage of this project, the completion of the construction and technical drawings.

Welcome Grace!

We also welcomed a brand new member to the team, Office Administrator, Grace Costello. Modern History and Politics graduate Grace has previously worked as a tutor and community manager in previous roles and joins the ArchiPhonic team to ensure we remain organised and on track in what’s proving to be an exciting and busy period of growth for the company.

We’ll tell you more about Grace soon, but needless to say – like the rest of the team – she has an interest in music, supporting her Dad’s guitar business in her spare time (we’re hoping to maybe pick up some tips there…)

New Instructions

As well as a raft of planning permission approvals, we’ve also this month started work on two very diverse projects. One is the conversion of an existing pub in Lancaster, into supported living accommodation, the other is the instruction to complete technical drawings for the King Street project that we recently gained planning permission for.

Station Openings and Stadium Design

Also this month, the much-anticipated new Merseyrail Maghull North station opened, creating a huge impact on the six-acre site that we recently completed a feasibility study for, we continued our search for an architectural designer and architectural technician to join the team.

Oh and amidst this wonderful heatwave we’re having, some football tournament kicked off in Russia and got the team obsessing over stadium design

All in all it’s been a great month. Don’t forget that if you need help with a project or want to find out more about ArchiPhonic, you can contact us here or just pop in for a brew.

Until next month…
